"Home from beautiful home."

Plenty of space for all the family, 6 of us. Very clean and everything we needed to make our stay stress free. Lots of little homely touches that made the rooms welcoming .Beautiful dining kitchen area with all the equipment necessary. We enjoyed sitting around the table not only for meals but playing family games. This made it extra special. Good communication from the owner Gill too.

There are lots of stairs so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Thankfully we haven't reached that stage yet!

"Fab family stay in Whitby"

Great location - we managed to stay parked outside our accommodation (2 cars) for the whole trip. Everything was very clean and tidy. Comfortable bedrooms - beautiful view from top/back bedroom. Nice fluffy towels. Modern, bright kitchen. Lovely host. We would definitely stay again if we were travelling to Whitby in the future.

"Great location, comfy and spacious house"

Great stay at Rovers Retreat, highly recommended and within a short walk to town too. Loads of space for the 6 of us, big lounge with a well equipped kitchen and separate dining room on the ground floor leading out to a small yard and gate to the back road - useful for the dog! Comfy beds and a huge bathroom, with views of the Abbey in the top room too. On-street parking was fine too; we found a spot within a minute walk if couldn't get parked on the street. We'll be back next time we come to Whitby!

If anything, I'd suggest a toilet in the up-stairs bathroom if you could fit it in!

"A win in Whitby"

Close to the town centre - nice quiet street with a good view of the Abbey from the top floor. House was lovely - just what we needed.

Location was very good. Parking was good. 5.mins walk into town. Choice of shops as good . Beds were very comfortable. Will book again.dog loved it with yard . House had everything you would need. House was very clean.shower was very powerful and great. Thank you.
