Janet Hale Studios, Garden Apartment

Janet was a star. So friendly and helpful. The place is a great location and has all the amenities you need. Clean and like a home from home . I'm sure I'll go back.

Far to small, no garden as such, no to or radio

It was a very basic apartment but it was filled with clutter rather than just necessary items.

The whole place was dusty and windows and shower curtains mouldy. There was a strong smell of mould in the bedroom and particularly the wardrobe. We couldn't open any windows. Food items and personal belongings left on the shelves and coats left in the closet. Frozen meals left for months? in the freezer (the plastic containers crystalized and frozen to the sides of the freezer) plus a half eaten ice lolly. Dirty cups that I had to scour clean before use. There was heating but we couldn't use it. It was operational by the owner. We questioned the cleanliness of the whole apartment and wouldn't stay again or even recommend it. We personally felt it was below par and shouldn't be rented out. There was a washing machine - we didn't use it - but nowhere to hang any washing.

Very quaint, exactly what we needed just for the Glastonbury Festival. Janice was very friendly and very welcoming and was an excellenthost.

There was everything you needed to stay in an apartment

Only the location, walking distance to main attractions.

It took us 2 hours to find a place as the sign is too small and invisible from main street. Locals tried to help but they couldn't find it either. The place is dangerously mouldy and towels couldn't dry from morning to evening and you can smell the old, and mould even in the air. Bathroom was freezing cold.

Great location very close to the town centre and Abbey. Nice and cozy, I felt very at ease and chilled out. Janet is a warm, welcoming and helpful host.

The quirkyness of the property. Seeing Janet Hale's art work. Having a spacious bathroom with natural light. Proper mirrors. The quietness.

The steep climb up the drive. Lack of real grass. Difficulty crossing Street Road.

Pleasant, cosy, has everything you need! Janet was absolutely wonderful what a lovely woman so welcoming and considerate, will definitely be back!
