A modern and boutique place to stay. Everything is well provided. Sandro is a super host, very kind, helpful and considerate. She can make the best breakfast in Anchorage! Highly recommended!

"Cozy stay at SunStar Alaska"

We had a lovely stay at Sondra’s house. We rarely look into other possibilities than hotels when traveling, but prices in Anchorage are high, therefore we decided to give it a try and stay in a home style accommodation and it was a wonderful experience. The room and bathroom were spotless and with a lot of amenities, the breakfast a gourmet experience because Sondra is a great chef and we got to experience a bit of what it is to live in Alaska because the house is in a regular neighborhood but still close to downtown and airport

Sondra is an exceptional host. Her breakfasts are legendary and they met the expectations. She pampers and coddles you, there is no one who is offering this level of personalized service. Please be kind and don’t be a jerk with entitlement, what she offers is rare and genuine in these days of corporate culture. Thank you Sondra for an amazing stay. If nothing else I will come back just for your breakfast.
