Everything so cozy

Thoughtful design and decor, warm welcome, nice room design, snacks and amenities! Nice hot shower med water pressure but that is Alaska utilities. Slept great and had a wonderful breakfast and salted caramel latte!

The host was wonderful and the breakfast amazing.

by far the best part was our host Sonder. She was So knowledge, generous and eager to share. Her breakfast was epic and that alone made the stay worth it.

a little far from downtown

Our stay here was an absolute highlight of our trip! The room was cozy and comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. Sondra was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and offering great local tips (including how to get a deal on pizza!) Breakfast was phenomenal—honestly on par with a high-end brunch at a nice restaurant, and such a great deal. We loved sitting down with other travelers, swapping stories about our trips and getting inspired for our next stops. The bathrooms were VERY well stocked with top-quality toiletries—even things I didn’t realize I might need. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay feel extra special. And we have to mention the backyard chickens! Watching them from our window was such a joy, and knowing the eggs on our breakfast plates came from those very chickens made everything feel so fresh and personal. From the fresh eggs to all the little thoughtful details, SunStar captured the spirit of what makes staying at a bed and breakfast so special. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone and can’t wait to come back!

女主人特别好，晚上十点多了依然等着我们，热情的帮我们拿行李。房间不大但是干净整洁，隔音效果很好，卫生间也很干净。早上为我们做了超级美味的早餐，提醒我们旅游路上的注意事项，还教我们旅游景点的正确读法，离开的时候送我们地图，上车前和每个人拥抱告别。总之，这是一个非常温馨舒适的地方。期待下次再来。
