Sondra has a lot of special touches at her property that are rare to find such as homemade breakfast cooked by a professionally trained chef, snacks and drinks included in your room, multiple charging ports for all kinds of cords, etc. You can tell she has poured her heart into this business and it’s a comfortable, safe place to stay!

"Probably one of the best B & B I have ever stayed in, very cozy, modern house, modern everything."

Sondra the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, she is a terrific host and chef to boot, the Carrs shop was 5 minutes walk away (Sondra told us how to get there), the host Sondra had every amenity under the sun complimentary to our needs, water bottles, savoury and sweet snacks, she said use all the hand wash, hand lotion, bandaids, earplugs, mouthwash, ear buds, bandaids you name it, we could use it. Breakfast was outstanding as she was a chef in her previous employment before being a bed and breakfast host. Also has all brochures and tight security measures.

Nothing. Maybe a bit out of town but can get an uber into the downtown area.

"Wonderful stay in Anchorage at the SunStar B&B!"

We so enjoyed staying at SunStar Alaska B&B. Sondra was so friendly and helpful when we arrived - we felt at home immediately. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was extremely clean and the breakfast superb! We will certainly book her home again when we have the chance to return to Anchorage!

Sondra was a very warm and welcoming host. The room was very well equipped - with attention to the smallest detail - coffee, snacks, toiletries. And the breakfast spread was not only healthy and delicious but generous and kept us full all day.

Excellent food and I liked the location being in a nice neighborhood.

I believe my bed cover was weighted, it seemed heavy to me. Being from Alaska, I didn't need that. Too hot with it and too chilly without it.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Home was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! Good value given the price of hotels in Anchorage.

Bedrooms are on the small side. I was not expecting the house to be in the middle of a sub-division, but it worked out fine.
