Good location , comfortable rooms and great food

The rooms were extremely dusty , a good months worth of cobwebs etc all around the ceilings .. we have stayed here over 20 times and had 4 rooms this time with family so was disappointed.. we did bring this to the attention of the staff who did rectify straight away , but seriously this was extreme. And was not just a little .

The room was spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard, the staff were fun and friendly and the evening meal was delicious!

Nothing to dislike

Room was very well appointed. Bathroom was good size with great shower and immaculately clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Although the pub is on a busy road there is a nice river walk alongside The Test and the town centre is within walking distance, taking in the nice park on the way.

Soundproofing wasn’t brilliant. There was some noise from a staff storage area late evening and early in the morning, however it didn’t disrupt us too much.

Very impressed with the decor and cleanliness. Close to the river Test for a walk into Romsey. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order.

The only down side was it was on a busy road.
