Cromwell Arms Country Pub with Rooms

It was a beautiful pub with really friendly staff. The rooms were stylish with a cosy feeling. The pub was very active and had live music (the rooms were well insulated and we couldn’t hear anything) the restaurant served good food with amazing deserts. The bar had a good selection of craft lagers!!! We would recommend staying here. We would come again.

The only thing we didn’t like was the entrance to the accommodation was through the beer garden.

Overall look of the pub was excellent, clean , modern but traditional. The little touches in the room like decaff coffee pods and fresh milk in the fridge. The ear plugs for light sleeps. The gorgeous cookies and luxury toiletries. Lovely food too

Staff were really friendly and helpful

Issue (reported) in bathroom where the heated towel rail was broken (permanently switched to hottest setting). Bad timing as it was the hotest day of the year so the bathroom became a sauna

Die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Das Nachtlicht im Badezimmer hat mich begeistert. Es gab sogar einen kleinen Schirm im Zimmer ( sehr sommerliche Temperaturen wurde also nicht benötigt). Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Klasse. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Das Zimmer lag an einer vielbefahrenen Strasse und der Straßenlärm war trotz doppelter Fenster zu hören ( es lagen schon Ohrstöpsel auf dem Bett parat). Für eine Nacht war es ok - mehr wäre für uns nicht in Ordnung gewesen. Das Zimmer war klein.

Breakfast had a wide variety of choices. The waitress was very attentive to all our needs. Our room was very clean. The bathroom a little hot but that was because the heated towel rail was on. A large fan was provided which was essential as weather was very hot.

Some more drawers to put eg underwear and socks

Clean rooms , nice staff,food was good, nice ambiance

Only fault for us was our room appeared to be next door to cleaning/storage room which often banged when being closed, and menu was limited if you stayed for a few days
