Tryst was EXCELLENT! I visited the property in April 2025 and this is my first stay but certainly not my last. I've stayed at surrounding properties in the past but I have found my home away from home while visiting PV. Looking forward to the next time!

Friendly, attentive staff who were well dressed and groomed. Very professional. Minimalist decor, very chic. Great bed, bedding, towels and amenities. Excellent housekeeping. Great AC. Rooftop pool amazing.

Portion sizes at the drag brunch. Brunch to me implies a buffet. This is not the case, you can order from a set menu. Construction next door.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed during the slow season so we were able to use the facilities almost privately - however, I imagine that during high season this might not be the case. This is a boutique hotel that is equipped with a restaurant and two swimming pools (however, these are small in size).

A lovely and unique hotel that is still in the process of becoming great. Billed as the first luxury LGBTQ hotel, The Tryst has all the makings of amazing. However, at the time of our stay (July ‘25) they were still a work in progress. Some construction is ongoing, one of the two guest elevators has not yet been installed, and there was some mix-up with staff on restaurant reservations for the drag brunch. Highly recommended that if you are staying for their very popular drag brunch that you triple confirm the reservation (both our room and two others had their reservations “lost”). That said, we were eventually accommodated and staff is overall quite lovely and very attentive to guest needs. For the price - you’ll expect perfection. They aren’t quite there yet — but a top tier property nonetheless.

Attention to detail. Water bottles as gift and purified water dispensers on each floor. Loved the open to outdoors shower. Will return.

People, place and vibe. So cool. Good was excellent.

I liked my room and the view from my room. I loved the pool area on the 8th floor. The location is right in the middle of the Zona Romantica.

The hotel has a lot of hard surfaces and there was construction going on during my stay. Therefore, there was a lot of noise particularly during the day and the construction workers work on the weekend too. They could use some sound absorption panels or paint in the hotel. If you want to sleep during the day, it's basically impossible. When I stayed there in November there was a lot of construction which caused a similar problem. They're building another building right now and the construction will probably be going on for another year.
