Nay Carmen Pension House Port Barton

The rooms are clean, the location is great - close to Port Barton beach, lots of restaurants in the area and on top of that there is free toast with spread and fruit in the morning and at any time water, tea and coffee for free. We liked the outdoor area at most. So you can relax outside of your room too, a big plus! The stuff organizes everything - tours, laundry... Everything was great. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, lovely and clean rooms. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was a bonus as not expected or paid for. They offered bread, fruit, spreads, even butter! and helpful yourself to teas and coffees/ snacks all day. Each room has a lovely terrace to chill on. They kindly booked our onward accommodation. The owners here actually care about you having a good time rather than their net profit! Feel I need to give a shout out to the young lady who works there as she is an incredibly hard worker. Would have loved to stay again on return journey but it's fully booked, no surprise there!

Excellent stay! Staff are lovely, free breakfast provided (very simple, could be better but coffee and biscuits also complementary) and room is great.

Breakfast could be a little better (more choice would be nice and there was no butter for toast)

A cosy guesthouse, at walking distance from the center. We really enjoyed our stay in Port Barton. Mik was particularly kind and helpful in finding the right tours for us and making our stay even more comfortable. We definitely recommend this accomodation. We felt at home here ☺️. Thank you again!

I am a grumpy old guy very demanding on quality and over the years in the South East Asia I have stayed in lots of different places. Lets get down to the basics. It is very clean and comfortable. The mattress is of the best quality. There is a fast Starlink internet connection. They are very friendly without being invasive. They help you with any request. They speak excellent English. It is a 5 minute walk to their beautiful beach and close to a SPA, restaurants and next to an ATM. Still not convinced? Then read the second paragraph. This accommodation is full of excellent surprises. There is a place to wash of the sand from your feet, excellent lighting inside and outside your room as well as plugs to charge up your phone. A bug zapper, one way windows for your privacy and many more surprises which I want you to discover. Still not convinced? Then read the third paragraph. The proprietor has put a lot of thought into how to make the guest comfortable. You may be surprised at first when arriving and think this review was exaggerated. No, it isn’t. I promise. Each day the place grows on you and you realize that you have acquired a little kingdom. I started with 7 nights and then I added on three more nights. Anything that could be fixed by the proprietor has been taken care of. Anything within their power they will strive to improve. What more can you ask for?

Hard beds with Loud AC. Close to road, noisy. I stayed two nights and got no sleep.

The best accommodation and hosts we had in the Philippines! They were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Although they’ve only recently started renting out this accommodation, they’re doing a fantastic job. Each morning, they provide free coffee, bread, and various spreads, which was a lovely touch.
