Stunning Centrally Located Apartments at New River Cove in South Florida

We loved that the apartment was nicely updated with modern decor. The quality cookware and appliances made us feel at home. Everything we needed to feel safe and secure was provided.

The baseboards were dusty and the trim needs to be re-caulked in some areas.

It was not clean the door was trouble opening the property is too old

Convenient location Common areas very well maintained Gym with a yoga room Beds were good and good quality bedding Lots of soap, towels and bedding We had issues with the wifi and when I called the issue was promptly resolved When we had questions. They were answered quickly and every time by a different individual

Housekeeping came at 10:30 asking to come and clean the unit. I let her know that we had the unit til 11 and would be leaving shortly The unit wasn’t clean, floors are very dirty and there are scuff marks on the walls Lots of spider webs in the corners - the screens are all broken There are no cleaning supplies to clean the bathrooms or the floors other than a broom. The water wasn’t flowing in the tub or sink and we took it apart to clean out lots of hair in the drain The washer took a long time to wash and the dryer didn’t dry at all. We air dried the clothing There is no flexibility for a late check out or use the common area after check out When the code changed at 11 you’re out- I am thinking maybe because we asked for a late check out they sent them early but that’s not professional at all!! I won’t post photos but we did let them know during the stay and they said they would send someone over

The location of the property and its surroundings have been grossly misrepresented. This is not a property suited for vacation but rather home to a transient business community. This property is not worth what I paid for. - Property adjacent to major highway intersection, separated only by a thin concrete wall and some foliage with noise and pollution 24/7 - Property not centrally located, not in Ft. Lauderdale as advertised - Balcony of our unit was filthy screen door broken, overlooking the trash dumpster that was overflowing daily, especially during the holidays. Smells from trash, noises from animals going through trash at night. - Busy entrance road to the complex with constant traffic ran right by our unit. Street bumper makes all cars break and then accelerate noisily. - 24/7 air traffic noise from nearby airport. - Poor sound insulation of the unit. - The facilities (pool, gym) where empty and not inviting, pools were misrepresented in photos. - Property with lakeside or river views not at all what we experienced.

Great little place...only difficulty was walking up stairs with bags. Everything else was fantastic.

Info about wifi in condo was misleading....had to call to get the right code

The apartment has modern finishes, like you'd expect in an Airbnb. I was hoping for a hotel-like experience, but this was definitely not that.

Two of the beds were broken (they seemed poorly assembled), the bathrooms were passable but not very clean, one of the closet doors was broken, and the WiFi did not work. The check-in process was annoying and involved filling out a separate form.
