The location is fantastic, the cottage was everything we needed for a weekend in the dales.

I had everything I needed, the garden on sunny evenings a real plus with view across to the fells and fields on the other side of Wensleydale.

Perhaps worth mentioning the steepness of the stairs as they wouldn't suit everyone.

Beautiful little cottage, beer sat waiting for us on arrival, everything was clean and tidy, loved the view, loved the village. Lots of dvds, everything was comfortable, duvet covers could do with upgrading but they were ok. Bathroom was perfect Host was great with communication. Almost perfect

Iv put almost perfect as there was one thing that let the cottage down and that was the overgrown unkept back garden, with a little imagination and a weekend worth of work this could be transformed into a fabulous little easy to maintain space

The bed was so so comfy i had the best night sleep, loved the goodies and the place was so clean and had everything we need

Ideally situated, very clean. Nicely furnished. Wensleydale cheese and local beer in the fridge a nice touch.

The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed.

Finding parking was a bit difficult as the space on the other side of the road was full when we arrived.

Exactly what it said on the tin. Convenient for the locations we wanted, and had everything we needed

I think the price of the cottage was pretty high for what it was, I’d have expected better views and a working fireplace. We weren’t even in peak season!

Excellent kitchen equipment. Cosy bed. modern bathroom.

Only reservation were the stairs which were steep and rather shallow. I almost fell once climbing with our early morning tray of tea. I have large size feet.Perhaps we should have expected that in an oldish cottage, but it might be a real problem for someone with difficulty in balancing or mild disability. Perhaps a more prominent house sign. We arrived in darkness and couldn’t see the sign behind foliage.

Lovely little cottage, very clean and comfortable. Perfect location between Leyburn and Hawes. Great views. We had a relaxing stay.
