Templestowe Hotel, Number One for Entertainment in Torquay

Overall brilliantl hotel, great entertainment very friendly and efficient staff amazing outside space and general good food.

Food could be better quality ingredients and hotter, usually sandwiches snacks are available afternoons which we requested on Saturday but were told one as no chef available perhaps pre prepared could be done.

We never used this facility

We weren't all inclusive for meals, so paid individually for each meal we ate there. The portion sizes were very small, and there was a quick time allocation of 30 mins to eat and finish.

Out of all the times we have been this time was a bit disappointing in way of cleaning

This is our second time at the Templestowe Hotel. The hotel itself is very big and spouse. Bedrooms are a good size with everything you might need including a good hairdryer and fan. The dinner hall is massive, the evening entertainment room does need to be slightly bigger one night we were unable to get a table to watch the entertainment which was a shame because it is really good. They have a fully functional lift. New showers are being installed and we had one, it was lovely. Any staff member you talk to seem very happy and polite. Parking onsite and nearby is very good. We didn't use any of the day trips but apparently they are very good. This isn't a hotel to take children although we had a young person with us and they enjoyed the entertainment. You wouldn't see a child running around it is more for 60+ but it really is a great weekend away filled with great entertainment.

It would be even better if for those that didn't have an evening meal included in the package that bar snacks such as Cheese/Ham rolls, Pies or other lite bites were available, crisp and nuts don't do the job. Breakfast only - The food wasn't to our taste but service was really good food was hot.
