"Nice location!"

8.0

Staff and location are perfect. It’s also good not to require leaving the ID during my stay. Very convenient to buy food. Very close to the big shopping mall.

Heard a lot of noises from upper floor. Maybe renovating? Water doesn’t flow easily in the shower room.

"Very fancy, almost perfect for short stays."

9.0

This flat is inside "The Florence", a brand new and still mostly empty condominium. A VERY fancy one, with a concierge, private pool, guards etc etc, placed in a fancy zone in Manila (zone of embassies, i think). Beside everything being sparkly new, there is a fancy mall (Venice-themed) nearby, other shops some of which are open 24h/7, groceries, pharmacies etc. The unit itself is beautiful, on the 20th floor with a nice view, and a kitchenette with all the essentials - well, 2 electric stoves and the oven, the pots, a fridge and a rice cooker; we had to get even the most basic elements like salt or oil. No coffee capsule machine. There is also a washing machine. Be careful, it is forbidden to leave clothes to dry in the veranda. There is good AC, both for the living room and the bedroom; there is fast and reliable internet connection and netflix on the crazy large tv, easily 65 inches and maybe something more. The unit is comfortable for a couple, but no more. I assume a child or two could sleep on the couch, of course.

Two things. For once, probably because it is new, but the bed is really, really hard. Both me and my fiancé noticed it, and i woke up with my back hurting every single morning. Beside that, that block is very close to the airport, which unfortunately means relatively far from the center of Manila or the places turists would normally go like Intramuros or the national museums. While it is only 10km, every time it took easily 45-60minutes to cross the horrible traffic of Manila. For a couple days one can be patient, for longer maybe something closer to the center is preferable.
