Luxury 2BR Apartment On Royal Mile

The property was very nice inside & location was perfect. Got an early check in which was handy, as we were able to drop luggage off also.

The staff that were downstairs were very abrupt and rude. When going into the property it wasn’t cleaned properly, tissues in the drawers etc, very very dusty and the property was freezing even though heating was on high.

I'll give you more feedback than most here because I had to stay in the flat for almost my entire stay due to injuring my back. You've tried to go for style over substance, but you've achieved neither. The bathroom needs to be changed. Doesn't work at all. The sink isn't a sink, and the shower just floods the bathroom. And the marble in there is a significant slipping hazard. Oh, and the extractor is covered in dust, so loads of moisture will be settling in the flat. That could be sorted in two seconds by wiping the extractor. Oh, and there's no lock, or places to put things, or hooks, or a bin. The marble flooring could do with being ripped out throughout. It makes the place feel really cold and soulless, and it looks naff. The lights in the hallway need fixing so that you can switch them on or off when you're upstairs or downstairs. The current setup is a joke. The small bedroom isn't too bad. The quality of the bed is pretty poor. I don't know what was going on when you hung the mirror, and the iron mark on the floor doesn't look great, but it's not the worst of the two. Missing loads of practical things like a bin, pillow protectors, mattresses protectors, etc. The big bedroom... No style or substance, and a silly little bag with fake flowers shoved won't fix that. Again, the bed just isn't good enough. Same here for the practicalities. The lounge is freezing. The radiators just aren't up to heating the room. The windows need a good clean, and you're in luck here, because I saw a sign next to the lift that some of your neighbours are looking for someone to split the cost of getting one. Give 'em a bell. The furniture isn't comfy at all, and the chair and footstool are absolutely covered in stains. The kitchen is kitted out pretty well, although the freezer has been taken over by a mountain of ice.

We had an amazing night at Christmas market, the apartment was awesome everything you need for a perfect stay. Would definitely stay again.😊

There is steps down from the bathroom but can’t see top step very well my sister nearly had a whoopsie but she was fine.

Location was good for getting around

Very poor WiFi meaning couldn’t use television or phones. Lots of dust on plugs etc although general area clean. Coffee machine not working…photos make it look very swanky and modern. Promised champagne/wine on arrival, nothing there and when WhatsApp said this was a mistake. Had to chase up entrance instructions and only received an hour before arrival which was stressful

felt furniture was basic virtually no storage, so if staying for longer than a couple of days may struggle, could have been cleaner, cobwebs and dust in corners. rubbish in hairdryer drawer crumbs in kitchen cupboards not enough glasses for 4 people

Location was great. Had everything you needed. Bedrooms were nice and big. Would definitely stay in this apartment again when coming back to Edinburgh
