Liked: the view and the location. Dislike: pool closed at 8pm Was told couldnt bring outside food to pool deck but they weren't offering to sell food either.

Room had a balcony.

Very hard to find and extremely difficult to get the keys to get into the apartment. L had to contact the owner many times just to get in. No hot water. I would never stay there again as too much hassle to get in. Also cupboards locked and floor was being painted.

Location was very convenient with so many restaurants and shops nearby. 10 minutes distance to main tourist attractions is walk able. The host is very attentive and helpful - thank you, Celine, for a nice holiday in amazing Malakka :)

nothing to dislike, really

The communication with our host, Celine, was excellent throughout our stay. A minor problem was quickly rectified and she also suggested some nice places to eat. The room was clean with comfortable beds. We loved the big shower! The pool was nice and we spent a lot of time enjoying the pool side view.

There was nothing worth mentioning that we didn’t like.

The pool on the roof looked nice The place is not too far away from the touristic center of town. Shops and restaurants are nearby. Communication with the host was easy and friendly via WhatsApp.

At first after we arrived the room was not cleaned well but after we told the host someone came a few hours later to clean again. The place is not serviced daily what is okay but we didn't know... So you gotta take your trash out etc by yourself. One towel for a few nights is not ideal... Aircon is a bit noisy and old.

Location is quite good, within 15 min of walking to Dutch Square. The room itself is small but everything works perfectly fine. Overall a decent accommodation for the price and host is very responsive and helpful.

The room is located in a high rise building that has seen better times - general condition is old and a renovation is overdue. The pool is ok to use and seems to be 25m although there is no official confirmation. The water quality could be a bit better, i.e. it is a bit cloudy. Also, check-in procedure is a bit weird since you have to go up to the carpark and retrieve the room key from a deposit box yourself. There seems to be a reception but only for actual hotel guests.
