Erg Chebbi Desert Luxury Camp

Beautiful location amongst the dunes, secluded from other nearby camps. The size of the camp was just right, not too big! Tasteful decorations and the tents felt safe and comfortable, but not cookie cutter. Modern authentic aesthetic and not chintzy. Staff were exceptionally friendly and lovely to chat to.

Friendly staff, free transfer with a SUV. Amazing dinner, many dishes. Evening with berber music and songs.

Nothing to complain about

Staff are really kind and took great care of us. The camp is excellent. The tents are hotel level comfortable with everything you need. Food is delicious.

There are two outstanding features that make this camp a delight - it is small (around 6 tents) so it feels very intimate, and it has fabulous staff. Saeed and Mustafa are relaxed, fun and genuine, and Ismail was a bright, intelligent camel travelling companion. If they ever came to the UK I hope I could show them the same level of hospitality!

If you want to drink alcohol it is worth warning the team in advance.

Mustafa was the most attentive, polite, and helpful host. The meals were delicious and well presented. He went above my expectations. My room was exceptionally comfortable and very well decorated. I’d love to go back.

Tents are big, heated and include a bath and toilet. Dinner was good and tasty.

Price could be more attractive than actual.

The staff is amazing. Mustapha and Saeed could have done more to make our stay comfortable and great. The excursion was interesting, we learned a bunch of stuff about the nearby town and the settled nomads. The menu was very good, the items were well prepared. The Berber omelette was very good. Dinner and breakfast was really good. Thank you

There was an issue where some bugs entered our tent, but the staff very kindly changed our tents and this wasn't an issue anymore. My bed was off kilter too, but overall nothing too bad. I'll say be ready for unexpected winds, they can get very loud in the night.

We loved our stay at the camp. the location is super good to explore the dunes. Breakfast eggs were delicious, the best we had in our trip. Dinner is very elaborate - 5 course. Kudos to the chef. We took the 4x4 excursion with Mustafa and we had a great time. he was very friendly and took us through the sites patiently. Also enjoyed the camel excursion.
