Very new accommodation, each bed got a ventilator, excellent service, great food

The breakfast was great (Sri Lankan breakfast) and the room was good. It was clean and it was nice with two fans. A mosquito net would have been nice, but with the fans it was not really an issue. The outdoor area is very nice! The staff was very friendly. The location is perfect, it's just between Hiriketiya and Dikwella.

There are a few things that could be improved to make it a really great place. The toilet needs to be cleaned more regularly and better (not just wipe the floors. The sink etc needs cleaning too). It would also be nice to have something to wipe the floor with in the bathroom so that everyone can do it after showering. The locks on the doors should probably be changed as they are very tricky to close and easily spring open if someone turns the handle from the outside. A rack to hang wet clothes on after being on the beach would be nice. It would be great if it was mentioned in the name of the private room that it's a shared toilet. It's in the description, but it's easy to miss (like we did, our fault😅)

The food here is impressive, like seriously impressive. And so cheap you won’t find cheaper home cooks food. The staff here are honestly so Freindly, my iPhone broke and straight away without hesitation Sam drove me around to different phone shops until I sorted it. It’s so close to the beach and WiFi is excellent. I was meant to stay 2 days. Of course I engender my stay! Super chill, super nice, super cheap, super safe!

There was one small problem that that main light in my room did not work but there was separate lights for each dorm anyway so it was fine. BUT THEN… after 1-2 days of my stay they changed the lights in the room 🥹🥹 so I have nothing bad to say whatsoever 🧡👌

The included breakfast was amazing. Buffet with 5 different dishes (e.g. daal, cocnut smabal, roti)

I stayed in the private room for a night and it was great! The room was super clean, the staff is very friendly and an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast was included.

Toilet paper and soap in the bathroom would be nice.

The hostel seems to be quite new and located in the main street to Hiriketiya Bay. I sayed here with my friend for two nights and the experience was positive. The manager, Sameera, and his assistant were really friendly and welcoming. They were always going above and beyond to make sure that all our demands were met. The breakfast was very local and delicious. The restaurant operated throughout the day until dinner time, and it was responsibly priced while making it one of the best places to try out some local cousins in Hiriketiya. The wifi worked well on the ground floor where we stayed, which helped me to do some work while staying there.. The beds in the dorm room were very comfortable and modern, and each had our own towel. All the beds had bed lamps as well as fans. Also, the hostel offers us free lockers to keep our valuables with was great. We had a shared washroom, and it was clean while there were a few more other washrooms in the property. The location is about 5 mins away from the beach as well as towards the main road, which I found to be a good advantage. Recommend for both budget travellers and food lovers! Thank you, team.
