LKThe couple who run Corner Cottage were extraordinarily helpful and friendly from pick up at the station to helping me find what I needed at the local market. Their local knowledge was invaluable. As a single female, I felt very safe. Corner Cottage is in a quiet neigbourhood with plenty of trees. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They have a tuk tuk which you can arrange in advance which makes getting around very easy.
Everything was great. I suggest they can offer a village egg option for breakfast.
NLI felt so welcome in this place. Never seen hospitality on this level. So much caring without being pushy, they helped me have an incredible time in Anuradhapura and with my travel before and after. Can’t recommend them enough!

GBDuring the 3 nights I spent here it felt like being back home. Food was so amazing I had breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. A day tour through Anuradhapura and a safari in Wilpathu were organised and prices were great too. I would highly recommend. Thank you for everything, and I hope we see each other in the future!!
NLThe people were super nice and really friendly, loved every minute. They were very helpful and the food they made was really good!!! The beds were also long enough for us (we are 1.78m and 1.98m)!

NLAmazing hosts that even helped us arrange a very last minute safari in Wilpattu when our reservation was cancelled, including driving us to the safaripark themselves (at 4.30 in the morning!). They were very friendly and gave good advice about exploring the city. The location is fast to reach from the touristic area with a tuktuk. The room had airconditioning and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
ITIl gestore è accogliente e disponibile, il posto è tranquillo. Stanza e bagno sono puliti, la camera è essenziale ma in ordine. Non ho avuto bisogno della zanzariera, ma ho visto che periodicamente le puliscono, cosa che in altri posti non accade. Fine luglio, mi è bastato il ventilatore. Cibo buono e prezzi onesti per ogni richiesta aggiuntiva. La famiglia è riservata, cortese e molto ospitale, e attenta alle necessità degli ospiti. Si crea una atmosfera rilassante.
Nulla, perché la camera si può definire essenziale o spartana, ma pulita e in ordine, e offre il minimo comfort necessario.
FRGihan et sa famille nous ont très bien reçus. Gihan a pu nous faire découvrir sa ville ainsi que sa culture, et nous a arrangés pour tous nos déplacements. Les repas étaient également excellents. Si nous revenons sur Anuradhapurah, ça sera au Corner Cottage!
NLWat een vriendelijke familie. En heerlijk kleinschalig. Gihan doet werkelijk alles om het naar je zin te maken. Hij haalt je op vanaf de busterminal en brengt je overal heen. Hij is meer bezig met zijn klanten dan met zijn eigen leven, zoveel tijd steekt hij daarin. Zij koken ook voor hun klanten. Heerlijk Sri Lankaans avondeten, zeker de Dal Curry (chicken) proberen!
