Gorgeous River View in Alfama

It’s in a great location,good for the bus if you need it especially early in the morning! Train station and supermarket just down the road,also easy walk into Alfama and main attractions.

The bathroom could do with some attention, we found it hard to regulate the hot water,the boiler kept cutting out,but turning it off and then back on seemed to sort it out,we had to do this several times,but it okay.

Perfect location with river views from the side balcony. Very near to Santa Appollonia Station (which has a small but well stocked Pingo Doce supermarket). Easy 5min walk to Alfama - we recommend A Buica for atmospheric fado but its very small so you need to book. 5mins more walking along the river brings you to Baixa - the main downtown area. We took an excellent walking tour with Hi Lisbon, caught a bus to Belem from outside Santa Appollonia and walked to the Museu Nacional do Azujelo. Very nearby places to eat are Cassanova a great Italian restaurant by the river and cafes around Campo de Clara. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The towels were luxurious and the bed far more comfortable than it looks in the pictures. We were met at the property - despite our 2 hour delay coming through Passport control - and our heavy case was carried for us up the flights of stairs. Thanks so much for such a generous welcome.

Just a few little things which hopefully have now been fixed. The lock on the apartment door wasn't easy to open, the washing machine wasn't working properly so the clothes came out wet. There were two new pillows but another two would be appreicated - overall the aprtment was very generous in facilities and equipment and well maintained.

Location is good, near the river, walking distance to main areas, train & metro services

This isn't an apartment with a river view unless you're on the balcony, standing room only. Although we appreciate it's an old building, the bathroom & bedroom need a revamp, including pillows (not enough & flat) & towels need replacing. Clothes felt damp in the wardrobes & need a paint inside to clean them up

The house was very close to the metro station or 20 minute walk to the city center. Very quiet and fully equipped.

Pillow and sofa are a bit uncomfortable
