You advised at last miniute the hotel.had cancelled our booking Why shoild we rate a hotel that tells its guests they are no longer welcome ? Why should we use your service when you suggest an alternative at more than twice the cost ?

Clean. Comfortable.

Neighboring room was quite loud until after 11:00 pm.

We loved sitting at the picnic tables, having dinner and looking at the beautiful lake. This hotel and resort is in a wonderful location for enjoying Bear Lake.

Conveniently close to the beach

Bathtub drain backed up when showering.

It was located in a place that we have lived since our childhood. We grew up in Bear Lake and love visiting there.

We saw pictures of hotel rooms on line and when we got to our room it was so different. it was very absent of the accommodations that we are used to for a room at that price. 1- the lock on the door was a common door that is typically in your home. No deadbolt as a security plus. As we were getting into bed someone unlocked the door and walked in! How does that happen? 2 - no chairs to sit on- just the bed. 3- the toilet seat was weird in that the seat itself was oblong and larger that the toilet opening which was round. My husband could not use the toilet because his manly parts would not fit in the opening? Strange. 4- no Kleenex. 5- The towels were all lowest quality towels that I use as rags at home and different styles of towels - mismatched like they had all been donated by someone? 6- the bathtub was very iffy. It was a hot tub style with openings in the side for the water to circulate. However the water openings were very dirty and unsightly. I would never have taken a bath in the tub. Also the shower curtain did not even fit the shower opening and barely fit below the edge of the tub to keep the water inside the tub. There were no safety rails to hang on to in the tub and the side of the tub was higher than usual because it was a hot tub style so getting in and out of the tub or shower was hard and scary because the bottom of the tub was slick and I almost fell twice taking a shower. 7-there was no where to open a suitcase except on the floor and that is not where you want to leave your opened suitcase? 8- there was not an ice dispenser to get some ice for a drink unless you went to the office and bought a bag of ice? 9- there was not a view of beautiful Bear Lake from our room. We looked out on the back of the next-door property.

Lack of shop onsite and staff totally absent

Location on Bear Lake is great. Pool area and playground were nice. Bathroom by the pool was clean. The room I rented for my son and his family was adequate.

I’ve never been to a Sun property before that I can recall. Unbelievably crowded with RVs that were way too close together. And of course weekend visits are the busiest times to go.

The size of our room was very decent and the grounds they have great public spaces.

The lock on the door was messed up, instead of fixing it, they told how to work around it. Not such a great thing to try coming back to your room around midnight after a wedding reception.
