The Cottage at Barkwith House

Lovely little cottage, beautifully and thoughtfully designed. So lovely to find the kind welcome gifts of nice tea and coffee, milk, juice, biscuits,and snacks and breakfast goods on arrival.Thanks for a lovely stay!

It was well located for where I was visiting friends.

It wasn't very easy to find, the directions were pretty mediocre, there was nobody there to greet me or say hello. That's okay, to be fair, but the internal facilities were mediocre, it was cold. The heating didn't seem to have any impact.

Loved the bathroom and the cuteness of the place

Under the drainer was full of crumbs and the honey and jam were already opened and used

The property is beautifully presented and is probably best described as cute. The bedroom has everything you might need and the bathroom is vast and has a marvellous double ended bath.

The heating had no obvious controls, we cooked a bit, which was frustrating.

Lovely decor, such a sweet little mini apartment with a kitchen and big bathroom.

You’ll need a torch to find your way through the path at night.
