Vemaga Luxury Stay in Pompeii

This is a great place to stay in Pompeii. Rather than do the day trip in and back, we decided to overnight here and then go to the airport the next morning. Great decision! We had asked Veronica if we could leave our bags with her after the train trip up from Salerno and then go and tour Pompeii. No problems! Not only that, she gave us coffee, fruit and water from the massive supply she has out in the breakfast room. Nothing was too much trouble. We asked if she could organise a car for 8 am to the airport, and she said she would have breakfast ready at 7.30 am. Off to the ruins, and a climb of the Pompeii Tower. Then back for dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant - Casa Gallo (make sure you book). The next morning, breakfast was laid out, and after that, an easy trip to the airport after a gift small bottle of Limoncello! The room is great - it is a 4 story apartment block - 2 apartments per floor. She lives in one apartment, and has turned the other into a large breakfast room and 3 apartments. She has fitted them out well. King size bed, good linen, a small fridge with free drinks and snacks laid out in the room. Then the breakfast bar has a wide range of items. Yoghurt, fresh Orange juice, ham, cheese (that you can toast in a sandwich maker), cereal, coffee, tea, biscuits, fresh fruit etc. For those that require it, she has almost a full shelf of gluten free items. But all of the high praise should be retained for Veronica! She is amazing. So happy, and nothing is a problem for her. I have rarely come across any person so bubbly, vibrant and helpful - particularly in the tourist services industry. We had limited Italian, and she had limited English - but we felt like we talked for hours with her. So wonderful - she made our stay in Pompeii special.

The host of the property Veronica was absolutely incredible. Helpful in every single issue. She have us a lot of useful tips about area. We were also amazed by her hospitality, quality of breakfast and quantity of products. Apartment by itself was extremely clean and equipped in everything what you need. Is worth to mention amazing decoration of The apartment. All in all the best place in which i’ve stayed.
