The host is welcoming and very helpful. The property is spotless, comfortable, very well equipped and just like a home from home. The location is very close to shops, bars and restaurants, the Elizabethan Walls, river estuary and pier.

The host John was very helpful and available to make our stay enjoyable, the cottage well located and everything we needed was on hand.

This ia a truly excellent holiday home. John could not have done more to male us welcome - from meeting us on the street as we arrived through to a most comprehensive range of facilities indoors. No detail was spared! Anyone hoping to fly fish on the Tweed will find John a great guide. He is a gardener too and his enclosed garden and terrace is a delight for sitting or eating out in the sunshine and mediaeval Berwick town is all within a few minutes walk away.

Immaculately clean, very well equipped, excellently located, with a lovely terrace for sitting outside John provided many thoughtful touches, and helpful suggestions.
