Calypso Beach and Dive Resort

The location was the best. Right on the beach, beautiful sunsets with good happy hour drinks. Everyone was really friendly. Easy walking to everything. Breakfast had a good variety. We really loved it here!

You couldn't or weren't allowed to bring outside drinks, coke, water, beer, into your room to keep in your room.

After booking, I received an email stating that I was strictly prohibited from bringing any food or drinks to my room, and that doing so could result in charges up to double the cost. As the person paying for the room, I found this policy unreasonable—especially since I wasn’t causing any damage. Additionally, being in the Philippines, I wanted to enjoy local cuisine, but the hotel’s restaurant only served Italian food

Staff (not all of them) were very rude and abrupt, rooms were clean but poorly maintained, the door handle felt like it was going to fall off and as the safe didn't work I was forced to take all of my valuables with me.
