Luxury 1Bed Retreat Edinburgh

Excellent location great for visiting the picture house. Bed was very comfy and faculties clean. Host was excellent with communicating and ensured a very smooth check in. Me and my partner had a lovely date night followed by a morning of exploring Edinburgh.

I arrived at the property to find the bedroom flooded. I reported it within 15 minutes of arriving and was offered a new apartment or a refund. Then the owner accused me of causing the flooding and refused to give a refund. I submitted a claim to Mastercard and won. He’s a con man and a douchebag. There are hundreds of flats in Edinburgh. Stay anywhere else.

Very comfortable bed and tasteful decor, bath in the bedroom was a great idea.

Slight damp smell in the bedroom, which we wondered if it’s from water from the bath getting onto the carpet? Only one wineglass & coffee pot wasn’t cleaned before, perhaps ensure every utensil is clean before the next guest.

The apartment was lovely, spacious and very clean. Reading other reviews is upsetting because everything worked perfectly. The smell of the apartment was very good, the Wifi works very well and so did the TV. There were no issues with the water. We used the lovely bath tub quite often and it was totally fine all the time. The host was the nicest! We asked if we could drop our bags early because the check-in was at 16:00. They made it possible for us to check-in at 12. It was easy to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go to. The district was very nice and seemed ver safe.
