Lovely place to stay for a few days with our dog. Great views, nice local walks. Everything we needed was available in the property.

Liked that it was very clean and light all facilitys there that were needed. Nice quite area as well.

I liked the location. I wanted a quiet stay that wasn’t to far from a town. That’s what i got. Although we were attached to the main house we rarely saw the owners and had our own little section of privacy. In the house they literally thought of everything that could be needed and provided it even down to dog treats.

It would’ve been nice to have a small enclosed space that I could let my dog out in.

Comfortable, clean , compact and warm

Nobody’s fault but there was a power cut for 5 hours on Friday evening. Remote area so has to be expected.

Athelas was perfect for our mini break , The accomodation was outstanding Very clean, Very comfy, Cosy and it had all you need for a self catering experience. sited it an outstanding remote location i would highly recommend a visit to this part of the country as the beauty is outstanding and Athelas just made it the perfect break.

I would say everything is pretty much perfect.

Absolutely spotlessly clean. Very quiet. Views were spectacular. Very well equipped and all the little touches made all the difference. Extremely relaxing. My partner and I loved every minute there. Warm cozy and the host Katy and Stephen went the extra mile to make it perfect. Definitely be back.
