Athelas, self catering cottage

Immaculate studio with everything you would need.

There was nothing we didn't like however, more power from the shower would have been better.

The Athelas studio was excellent and we have stayed in many places like this, but the Athelas is the very best. from the log fire to the beautiful kitchen to the stunning views. we even had two fields to walk the dog, well done to the owners.

The place was lovely very clean, had everything in there you could want and need. Shower was great and nice comfortable bed.

Didn't know how or where you turned the heating on.

Easy to find location…good parking…excellent facilities….lots of beautiful areas to explore

Lovely little studio, nicely furnished, clean & great for our 2 night stay. The packet of cookies left out for us was a lovely touch. The little field just outside was great for the dogs to have a little wander before bed & first thing in the morning but it isn't totally enclosed. Wasnt an issue for our boys as they are pretty good but just something for others to be mindful of. The information book was very handy, we had an idea of what we were doing over the weekend but this was very helpful in our planning.

Shower wasn't very powerful but didn't really bother us much as we were only there for 2 nights

Property was clean and comfortable, beautiful garden for the dogs to play

Very well equipped with helpful friendly owners next door.
