Gerardo did everything to ensure we had a great stay, from arranging our collection from the airport, meeting us at the apartment and providing breakfast supplies on our arrival. All these little extras were great. The apartment is old fashioned but homely. The beds are comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a dish washer and washing machine. It was a short walk downhill to a lovely beach cafe and swim spot.

It was a great accommodation, clean, fully equipped. We were welcomed by Gerardo, who showed us the whole apartment. The view from the window is amazing, it's a short walk to the center, garage. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

We got the best host and the apartment felt like home. Gerardo made our stay very welcoming, you will have everything you need in the apartment. Will definitely come back!

Amazing views! Fabulous host - Gerardo was so very helpful and very quick to reply to any questions. Apartment was very well kitted out with everything you need for a stay. It really was a home away from home. If you wanted to cook everything you needed was supplied including a toasted sandwich maker which was a bonus for us! It is 15 minutes walk into town but the walk is great.

The double bed in the main bedroom was very small. For a couple who are 5'8 and 6' respectively it was very "cosy" ! Very steep hill to climb to get there but the views make it worth while. However to catch a cab or uber was only about 5 euros so well worth it.

The apartment was amazing. Very clean. Perfectly located to the old center of Funchal and very close to the beach. 20 min drive from airport . The host is amazing. We were meet at the airport and drove back after the trip was done.

It is very comfortable, clean and equipped with all necessary amenities. The host is very attentive and helpful.

The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area, but close to the centre and the old town with cafeterias and restaurants. Rua de Santa Maria, cable car to the Monte Palace, Farmers Market, the Marina area - everything is within walking distance. The apartment itself is a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and the most amazing view from the living room and one of the bedrooms! You have everything you need there to feel at home. Since we rented a car to explore the island then the parking place in a garage under the house was a big bonus for us. Gerardo is a wonderful host - very easy to communicate, helpful and made us feel very welcome! We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely recommend this place!

It is very clean and it felt like being at home. The unit had everything we needed and more!
