Palheiro Residence Familiar 2

Cosy, comfortable and very clean. Well situated, a few minutes walk from the main area with bars and restaurants along the seafront. The host arranged a free transfer from the airport, as we stayed 7 nights, and gave us a lovely welcome with juice, fruit and pastries. Fabulous views, and a frequent bus service stopping right by the apartment to avoid the steep walk back up the hill. 6 Euro taxi ride from the harbour. Definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing. Only criticism, is that the walk back from the front is very steep.... But without this, you'd miss the views.

Mr. Franco's host was affectionate, the apartment is big and has everything you need. It also has a very nice view of Funchal. The garage was worth gold, the distance from the center is a 15-minute walk. In short, all praise, and I recommend it.

Very lovely place to stay! We were really satisfied. Lovely and very clean rooms. Really appreciate changing towels very often. Gerardo was very patiente and kind, always ready to help or give directions. Locality is calm, its not that far from centre. We fell in love with views from the window aswell, evening’s atmosphere was absolutely incredible. Welcome package from Gerardo (some local sweets and gluten free stuff) was really attentive. Option to park in private parking spot was pleasant surprise.

The apartment is clean and quiet, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 wonderful balconies. It’s near to the Santa Maria area, extremely close to the ocean and some lovely old streets with great bars and restaurants. Gerardo is a nice host, he even prepared some welcome package as well with local fruits and chocolates. We recommend Gerardo and the apartment, we enjoyed our stay there and will return soon.

Great view from the living room and one bedroom. Two balconies, well supplied kitchen, two bathrooms, air conditioning in ech room, lift to the garage, TV with plenty channnels, welcoming gifts. Most of all the host Gerardo went over and above what was expected of him.

Bed mattresses were too soft.
