Big Sur Campground and Cabins

Die Lage war ideal, um die wunderschöne Umgebung von Big Sur zu erkunden. Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr sauber und hochwertig ausgestattet – man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Details gelegt wird. Ein besonderes Highlight war der angenehme Duft nach Eukalyptus, der uns schon beim Öffnen der Haustür empfangen hat – das hat sofort für eine entspannte Atmosphäre gesorgt. Die Betten waren himmlisch bequem, wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Zudem war alles vorhanden, was man braucht: Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher sowie Kaffee und Tee für unseren Aufenthalt. Am Vormittag konnte man sich zusätzlich kostenlos Kaffee an der Rezeption holen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Der Kamin in unserer Hütte war ein weiteres Highlight: Mit einem Knopfdruck konnte man das Feuer einschalten und sofort die wohlige Wärme genießen – was für ein Luxus! Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Und beim nächsten Mal länger.

The cabins have plenty of outlets, everything in the cabin worked, and of course it was super adorbs! The coffee was AMAZING! The sheets and pillows smelled clean, and they offered the right types of linen and covers for all levels of cold/hot people in your group. Also, there are different lighting options to get the level of light you want, plenty of windows too. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and ice are included with your stay. We also got the 2 souvenir mugs per cabin.

I reserved 2 cabins with no kitchen (there were only 2 cabins left). It would have been nice if they either had a bigger sink or a water spout outside to facilitate washing dishes. I have a camping stove and an electric griddle but opted not to take them because the sinks looked too small to wash dishes, pots, pans, and bowls comfortably.

Wonderful clean cabin in the redwoods with a comfortable bed and gas fireplace to keep warm. Incredibly friendly staff and no wifi so you really feel the beauty of your surroundings and talk to your neighbors along the riverfront
