Big Sur Campground and Cabins

Very cosy and in the middle of the forest! The staff were very kind as we were not prepared at all. There’s no network at all.

Maybe just having some guidelines before on what to bring and what they have there for the camp.

Beautifully clean cabins with no dust or spider webs anywhere (my biggest challenge trying to be a camping girl is my fear of bugs, particularly spiders; hence the cabin instead of tents)! Plenty of towels and a little kitchenette perfect for a long weekend! Near the river where they give you rafts you can use to float down and the gave us take-home camping mugs as souvenirs 🥰 the location was great when leaving the campground as far as landmarks to explore and local hang out spots for dinner and getting to know the locals. It was dead center Big Sur!

Not one complaint! Next time I’ll try the tents…maybe!

Beautiful campground, with great location right in heart of Big Sur. We had one room cabin and it was a very special couple of days in the Redwoods.

Its in the midst of the trees and near the creek where you can bring your chairs and enjoy the beauty. The cabin was bigger than I expected and had everything we needed for preparing food. Close to all parks and fun restaurants.

I wish I would have grabbed her name but the woman who checked us in was rude- we arrived 45 minutes early and were turned away bc of the PARKING SPOT not being "available?" WIFI is now an extra fee at $20 and we only needed it for the last hour we were there and she (same woman) refused to budge even though we paid $400 for the night and $14 per bundle of wood. It's a campground so expect bouncing basketballs and screaming kids at 8 am until 10 pm. One more thing- they put a regular tent site right between 2 cabins which I thought was strange as the price you pay for cabins- luckily they were a quiet group- small kids there would have been frustrating as the bedroom window in ours (60) looked directly into their campsite- had to keep the curtains closed at all times. 64 is a better choice - still think $400/ night is crazy

The cabins are amazing. Lots of room and clean. Great bedding, not too soft like many other hotels. And the location is simply gorgeous, near a river
