The sounds of nature

No fire pits, no wifi/service, broken glass windows and doors, walls in bathroom with graffiti with inappropriate context, air conditioning turning on and off by itself, stuffy in the rooms, dusty in the rooms, non working lamps with the knobs broke off

The lodge and cabins were just amazing all around. The location can’t be beat—literally a quarter mile from the historic cave entrance and surrounded by hiking trails—and it was easy to get in and out. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

Somewhat dated fixtures in the bathroom, but not a huge deal.

Good, friendly check-in staff. Good location. Comfortable cabin.

The restaurant food is terrible. There were some maintenance problems that did not trouble us and which we arranged to take care of, but they should not have existed: porch light not working, fan light not working, slow drain on one sink. A
