Last stop for our south island road trip. The place was stunning, The staff were super welcoming. It included the tickets for Larnach Castle and gardens. Definitely recommend anyone going to dunedin to stay there.

The bed was comfortable the room and establishment was clean and very elaborate the view was breathtaking. The Camp Estate itself is a very upmarket and five star establishment.

The staff were accommodating until our early morning departure for the coach. They booked us a taxi, however failed to tell the taxi driver exactly where to come. The front door was locked and I had to find us an exit out of the building which was not explained although they knew our early departure time. We had to drag 20kg bags down a steep gravel and unsafe driveway in the dark to come to lock iron gates with no exit button. My husband managed to pull the gates open enough for me to squeeze through where I pushed the intercom. A staff member finally answered and we could exit the entrance and load our bags into the taxi. A very dissapointing experience

Beautiful room in a stunning location. Breakfast was delicious. The staff couldn’t help us enough, we were treated like royalty. Dinner at the castle was delicious and a lot of fun. Highly recommend!
