Westland House En-suite WHOLE

After I got moved to my new residence I found the location to be convenient and good value.

The original place I was sent to had issues with its mattress. After moving the conditions were much improved.

I checked into this property and left within an hour - it was completely uninhabitable. Despite being advertised as a deluxe, non-smoking room, the reality was shocking: • The front door was not secure, which raised immediate safety concerns • The room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke • There were cigarette burns on furniture and surfaces • The toilet was leaking into the toilet brush holder, which was overflowing with dirty water • The bedding was soiled, with stains, cigarette burns, and what appeared to be blood • The mattress was heavily stained • There was no hot water • The bathroom walls were dirty and unhygienic I reported all of this to the property manager within 20 minutes and left shortly after. The contact provided for the property refused to issue a refund, despite the serious hygiene and safety issues. After much pressure I managed to get a refund, but only once further action with the Council was actioned. This property should not be listed in its current state. Avoid at all costs.

Convenient

It was modern, had a secure entrance, easy to check in and out, shower pressure it so nice!! Bed was also very comfy.

The upstairs neighbours were constantly banging, without being crude, it sounded very intimate and LOUD, the next day they were blasting music..there was half a toilet roll in my room. Room hadn’t been cleaned properly as there was a kinder on windowsill and coke in fridge. No shampoo/comditioner/body wash or any other toiletries. Barely any cutlery, one bowl and plate. No TV and the blinds made it very bright in the morning too. It is advertised as a spa bath…it’s a shower.

Property was fairly clean and comfortable. Easy access and parking.

Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Dirty toilet. Kettle in the cupboard had stagnant water left in it. Other guest were noisy with constant door banging.

Check in was well instructed and easy. Clean property.

Minor issues. Kettle was broken in my container unit but was not an issue as I could use the communal one.

Everything was poor from the start - changing apartment booked to a room with not even a tv or bathroom
