Luxury Studio Annexe, Heswall

Good apartment with all facilities Everything worked and it was comfortable.

The toilet seat moved.

Prior to our arrival the communication between the owner and myself was timely and extremely helpful. The Annex is everything you would need for a short stay in a central location in Heswall. It is beautifully appointed, offers total privacy and the bed is so comfortable. Highly recommend .

Nicely decorated and comfortable and clean

Mold and damp on the walls. Unsafe stool that needed tightening up. Unclear instructions o how to turn on the hot water. Would have expected tea and coffee as was described as luxury. Coffee maker

Location was perfect for where we needed to go for the venue. Shops and lots of places to eat within walking distance. Property was lovely and clean, had to follow up with a call for the keycode as not received. Unable to get through to Interim Properties Limited initially so slight panic as to how we were going to get in but eventually found a different number and lady was very helpful. Parking on the pavement was just around the corner. The Kitchen was a good size for a couple of days stay and the Bathroom was nice and clean and the shower was hot.

No curtains at the windows - vertical blinds but it was daylight in the room from 4.30-5am onwards, so the blinds made no difference to the light in the room other than privacy. I'm a light sleeper so this really made a difference to the amount of sleep I got (should have taken my eye mask). I was irritated by this as I knew I was in for an early morning wake up on the second night stay and a double bed rather than a king size, my husband and I are not the sizes we used to be so that was very snug! Almost all other places we have stayed there has been complimentary tea/coffee - there was sugar but that was it. No basics ie: salt/pepper and no tea towel to dry up after washing up what we used. No Freeview on the television, you need to log in to your own iplayer account to get access. No inside door knob on the shower door, the toilet seat and the toilet roll holder were a bit loose but minimal problems.

Relative needed somewhere local to stay while his bathroom was refurbished. Contacted owner who agreed to let us to temporaly reconfigure the accommodation to suit him as he is elderly. Excellent consideration by owner. Thank you so much.

Heating could be better. Just a small fan heater that needed to be on for a long time to warm the apartment up. The main heater did not work.
