Montpelier Nevis

Montpelier is beautifully set on the hillside, with stunning views, private villas, immaculately presented bar and restaurant areas. A feeling of space, comfort and luxury. The food and drink for breakfast, lunch and dinner were perfection. Beautifully served and gracefully presented. There is a fun and friendly vibe to the Montpelier estate as a whole. Happy interactions, great advice for alternative restaurants and bars to try. We saw it all! Montpelier also sorted our rental car for us on arrival, which we always intended to book but ran out of time. Nothing was too much bother. All was done with a smile. We met and got to know well the Owner, who is delightful. I have no doubt we will both stay in touch and return. Montpelier also have a private beach about a 10 minute drive away. A mini bus will take you there, but we used our hire car. It is a very special location, with hammocks, huts, plenty of sun beds and a bar area in the shade. The beach is delightful and I spent many hours reading my book half in the water. It was very much the great escape.

There was really nothing to put my finger on for 'not to like'. The staff were quietly efficient to fix our room while we were at breakfast or once we had gone to the pool or beach. Again in the evening, the room was turned down when we were out. The products in the bathroom divine. No complaints, not even small ones.

The property felt small and very quiet. The bar and restaurant were all closed up by 9pm every night.

The staff and facilities were excellent. Rooms were clean, large, comfortable. The food was very good and the breakfast was generous, tasty and offered many options. There private beach is one of the most idyllic beaches on Nevis. Small, private, wonderful sand, with bath facilities and a bar. Perfection.

Truly, there was nothing I didn’t like. If there was one suggestion I’d offer it would be to change or remove the lighting on the terrace that overlooks the tennis court so it doesn’t interfere with evening dining.
