The Kayuan Lumbur Resort Ubud

I had such a great stay here. The staff were excellent, always smiling, super attentive, and genuinely helpful with anything I needed. The whole place was incredibly clean, like seriously spotless. Both the rooms and the resort itself were really well maintained. The pool overlooking the jungle was beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing, it was one of my favourite parts of the stay. The restaurant food was also really good, fresh and tasty every time. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and I’d definitely stay again.

The only downside for me, and this isn’t a fault of the resort itself, was the overall atmosphere at times. I chose this place expecting a quiet, peaceful jungle retreat, but it didn’t always feel that way. There were moments where other guests were quite loud, particularly around the pool and balconies, with people filming and creating content, which took away from the calm, relaxing vibe I was really looking forward to. There were also children running around during my stay, and at times the noise carried, which made it feel less tranquil than expected. It didn’t change how beautiful or well-run the resort is, but it did impact the level of peace and quiet I was hoping for during my stay.

Neben der Lage am Fluss mitten im Wald (Jungle) und den damit verbundenen Geräuschen der Fauna hat uns besonders das ruhige und familiäre Ambiente gefallen. Das Frühstück sowie die à la carte Speisen waren auch sehr lecker. Absolut super und top im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis waren die Behandlungen im Spa. Unser Zimmer war ebenfalls toll - wir hatten Villa 6 und haben den morgendlichen Blick vom Balkon aus auf den Sonnenaufgang über den Baumkronen sehr genossen. Mit am schönsten war allerdings der Service. Sowohl Ana, Angga und Okta im Restaurant, als auch der gesamte Staff und insbesondere die Rezeption war mega freundlich, aufmerksam und engagiert. Egal ob Sonderwunsch, Frage, oder die Orga eines Fahrers oder Ausflugs - es wurde einem alles abgenommen. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung abseits des Trubels sucht, wird hier definitiv fündig.

Abreisen zu müssen.

Die Lage ist schön, es ist ruhig und man blickt auf den Affenwald und kann Affen sehen. Der Pool ist sehr schön, der Balkon großzügig gestaltet. Man hört keine Straßengeräusche oder Straßenhunde, nur ein sanftes Bachrauschen.

Das Frühstück ist mittelmäßig. Wir haben uns vom Personal kontrolliert gefühlt. Wir wurden immer gefragt, wohin wir gehen, als wir das Hotel (es ist definitiv kein Resort!) verlassen haben. Obwohl ich gesagt habe, dass ich keine Zimmerreinigung benötige, war das Personal in meiner Abwesenheit in meinem Zimmer und hat einfach nur die Vorhänge zugezogen ohne den Müll zu entfernen oder Wasser aufzufüllen - das kam mir sehr suspekt vor. Bei meinem Kumpel der ein anderes Zimmer bewohnte, hing sogar das "Do not disturb" Schild an der Tür, und das Personal hat in seiner Abwesenheit das ganze Zimmer hergerichtet - obwohl es ausdrücklich nicht gewünscht war. Zusammen mit dem ständigen Fragen was wir machen und wie lange wir wegbleiben, sorgte das bei uns für ein ungutes Gefühl und wir sind 1 Tag eher abgereist.

The hotel is simply fantastic! The villa was beautiful, with relaxing river views and the soothing sound of nature all around. Between the massages, yoga studio, great restaurant, and gorgeous swimming pool, everything felt designed for total relaxation. Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect peaceful escape. What truly made the stay special was the staff, the loveliest hotel team I have ever met. Such genuinely warm and beautiful people, and I truly mean it. (Okta and Mey are fantastic!!!!)

We loved everything! It’s also very easy to grab a taxi or Gojek from there, and in just 10 minutes you can be in the centre or at the Monkey Forest, while still being far enough away to feel completely tranquil. Highly recommended!

酒店的厕所通风设施比较差，酒店的床垫又过于软了，因为我们是长期电脑办公，腰椎和颈椎都不太好。

We really like the room and the terrace with the river/jungle view. The pool was great, we loved coming back to the hotel after exploring and dipping straight into the pool to refresh. It was nice to spend time there as well.] The staff was very friendly and attentive, sometime overly so :)

The food could be better. There were 4 breakfast options and unfortunately the bread wasn't really bread, but toast. Apart from that we only ate one other time at the hotel, we had dinner there last night. The menu is really lacking... Pasta, pizza, a few basic Indonesian dishes, burger... with not cheap prices for what it was. The water pressure in the bathroom was rather weak.
