Dale End Cottage, Brassington

The, cottage was compact. Cosy, clean.

The steep steps to the back door were hard to navigate at night time as there were no outside lights.

I liked everything .. the location .. the cottage .. the nearby walks the far away walks.. local pubs .. other village pubs .. great place to stay to explore the areas ... very cosy .. we all loved it .. had everything we needed and more

Comfortable and very well equipped dog friendly cottage. Easy check in with plenty of info provided. Nice rear courtyard and countryside views out of the front windows. Plenty to do and visit in the surrounding area.

A few bits of minor maintenance needed, e.g. stiff back door, bathroom windows and kitchen taps.

The location is perfect as everything is within a 30 minute drive and the views across the village are fantastic

I was unable to collect the keys initially as there is no phone signal to call the property manager. On the plus side, the pub is around the corner, so we went into there where I was able to use their WiFi and call the property owner to get the keysafe code

The location is great for going on walks. The cottage was absolutely lovely and we really felt welcome. Definitely recommend !

The devil is in the details with this property, the little things went a long way in bringing us joy. Beautiful footage in fantastic location !
