The location was excellent - easy access to shops, station, beach etc. When the sun did shine ( very little!) the orientation was very good with sun shining through the lovely big windows.

Overall I liked the apartment very much. But there were problems. The main one was that the dishwasher did not work for the entire time of our stay - 2 weeks. That is a lot of time washing up! Secondly, the curtains in the 2 bedrooms are no good at all for sleeping - much too light and we had to try and cover the windows up with black plastic. Thirdly , during our second week the intercom packed up - first downstairs and then upstairs too - this linked in with another problem for us - having only 1 set of keys, making it quite difficult to co-ordinate when people are doing different things.

Location and bright outlook

Rusty toilet brush holder. No blind or curtains in bedroom to give morning darkness as we were there on Soltice day- sunrise about 4.30am.

The property was clean, cosy and within walking distance of the beach and cafes/shops. The large windows flooded the rooms with natural light. The decor was stylish with quirky touches like a couple of unusual dining chairs. Cosy bed linen for the slightly chilly April nights and a heated towel rail in the bathroom added extra comfort. Overall it's a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The only things that let it down was the dishwasher and faulty dvd player in the living room tv. The dvd player would not play certain discs and wouldn't fully eject one of the discs. We had to use a pair of tweezers to pull the disc out. The dishwasher just didn't work and smelled quite bad, like it wasn't clean or hadn't been used in a while.

The location and beauty of the property from outside is great. Nice accommodation with plenty of light. Good furniture in the lounge and the bed in the bedroom next to the lounge was great.

It needs heating in the hall and the doors need some adjustment. Also, the front door lock needs looking at, as it can be difficult to lock. The tea towel provided was not fit to be used, unfortunately.

The building is absolutely charming with the floor to ceiling arch windows. Very bright rooms with high ceilings and a really good spacious apartment. The lift was a real bonus for easy access to the 2nd floor. Very handily placed for access to shops, takeaways, restaurants, and supermarkets. Just round the corner from the train and bus station. A short distance from the 5* beach and wonderful scenery. Would definitely go back again in the future.

Very little to dislike. There perhaps needs more attention to overall cleanliness. The cooker hood was greasy to touch, and kitchen cupboards need a clean inside and out.

Advertised dishwasher didn't work. Proprietor promised to send someone to fix it but didn't happen

Perfect (for me) location close to shops bars beach etc. Good comms from host. Property had everything we needed. Host responds to email really quick. I would definately stay again

Place could do with one or two minor repairs.
