Auckland CBD, Parnell Ensuite+Patio+Secluded Garage

Garage was good. Location handy. Host was speedy to respond when I mentioned slow WiFi, but didn't acknowledge anything else I mentioned. The shower was powerful.

It is tiny. It was disappointing for the price. The kitchenette is really the laundry in the garage with a microwave, kettle, toaster and a fridge. Hard to access when car is in the garage. No table. No bowls. No space to use the fold up chairs. No bedside cabinets. Had to plug chargers in the garage as sockets on the room were used for TV / heater etc. Bathroom ceiling had dead bugs all over it. It was also noisy from the family above.

Very prompt communication from host. Close to city. Extremely convenient to have close access to car.

Having to wash our towels to reuse and there was no bath mat

It was walking distance to the venue we were going to and had on-site secure parking. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Checking out at 11am was a bonus too. The private courtyard was nice and being able to open the doors right out was lovely.

It was a.very small space and the bedframe was large and stuck out so was knocking into it trying to move around the bed, got the bruises to show for it lol there wasn't anywhere to put luggage in the room or sit down besides the bed. I am quite small so wouldn't recommend this place to any larger people as everything was a tight fit, even for me. Also would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge, even a small bottle for coffees and toiletries in the shower. For the price paid, little things like that would have been appreciated and made the stay feel more worth what was paid.

Modern, clean, neat and close to Strand Station for Northern Explorer train. Good washing machine, fridge and microwave.

A little cramped: it’s a converted apartment garage with the bedroom and bathroom added on behind. I was quite surprised at the layout initially, but became used to having my suitcase in the garage.
