For the first time in over 200 bookings on booking. Com they asked for a deposit(200euro!!!!) for one night stay. I reserve Manny apartaments where it says the deposit will be..... But nobody really charge. Guess what...... 20 minutes before arrival I see the message on booking (my fault cause I saw it late) "After you deposit 200 euro in the account and 15 euro for city tax" and after they received the money they will give me the code to enter, no way the transfer between accounts could be made in 20 minutes ( I have made the reservation in the same day) and between accounts form 2 different countries is almost imposibile to see the money in your account in the same day. I got panicked, called them and told them that I have foreign account about the comisions to be paid and any way they won't get the money so fast(not refundable reservation). The positive thing they where understanding told me that they will make an exception and let us in without the deposit (thanks to the host). But... Be aware to who you leave a deposit. After check out they send us pictures on booking with a stain on the wall (I think made by us from a sandwich) which was very easy to celan, also a picture with the garbage which was very ordinate but I don't know why they send it to us. We are (I think and hope so) very civilized persons which don't cause trouble but this accomodation was a bit strange for us (the whole process) I think that they are looking for ways not to give you the entire deposit back. Would I stay there again.... Not I give them 10 out of 10 because so I promised and they check us in without deposit A bit to agresive in the way they asked as for a review on Booking. My friends, if you want to make businesses be more friendly but sincere friendly.
