Motel 6 Lake George, NY Adirondacks

The master bathroom toilet was disgusting, like it hadn't been clean in weeks. The towels were dingy and needed some bleach. There were white stains on the green carpet going up the stairs.

Great location for the things we wanted to do on our family trip.

The only thing was the bedrooms did have any air conditioning in them.

Very cute resort with activities and cool amenities. We really liked the indoor pool and hot tub, plus the game room. We had fun playing a game of pool and there was also an air hockey table and old school arcade games (Pac-Man, etc). I especially liked that it was a separate building from the rooms. The bathroom in our motel room was very spacious and nice, as was our room. The only thing that was a "problem" is we could hear everything from the neighbors on both sides of us clear as a bell. We were in the pet room because we brought our dog. I don't know if just those particular pet rooms have thin walls or if the other rooms do as well. It was also a room that connected on both sides, so maybe the walls are thin because it's not a full wall. And also, the doors had big gaps at the bottom which added to being able to hear everything from the neighbors. I definitely like the idea of different types of rooms (honeymoon suite, house, etc.), and would like to try a different type of room to see if there's a difference in the sound/acoustics. The owners/staff were incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. I have no complaints about them at all. All in all, I would stay here again because it was one of the better hotel experiences I've had in Lake George.

The gap in between the door and floor of the adjoining rooms made it possible to hear every single thing from the neighbors.

Friendly staff, indoor pool.

The room was not very clean. Our feet turned blacking walking around barefoot. The walls were thin and many of the stone walls, carpets, and facilities were falling apart.

Location and services provided.

We enjoyed our stay, it was a quiet and peaceful place and the grounds were lovely. The staff was very attentive and the room was clean. The location was in excellent proximity to area attractions.

The AC didn't work well and was loud. Fortunately it was very cool when we stayed so it wasn't really an issue. cable TV didn't work well (some channels were fuzzy like the old antenna tvs, other channels froze) but we managed. The worst was the constant texts every day about office hours, pool hours, etc. We were checked out and home and still receiving texts at about 6 and then about 8pm that evening.

Convenient to interstate, town center and attractions. The room was clean and recently updated and the bathroom was large, recently retiled and it easy for the two of us to use at the same time. The outdoor pool was nice, clean and excellent for beating the heat while we were there. This is an older property but has been well taken care of and was in good shape.

There were areas where steps were much higher than normal. Outside our door and from one level to another on the sidewalk leading to the office. The metal rails on the steps leading to the office were not solidly anchored and wobbled when you grabbed them.
