What a view Mevagissey

Super beliggenhed, god stemning, meget hjælpsom vært som serverede fantastisk hjemmelavet engelsk morgenmad hver dag og gav gode tips til spisesteder og seværdigheder.

Vores værelse var meget lille, manglede skabsplads og der var kun en stol.

Terry was a superb host; friendly, helpful & lots of local knowledge. The rooowas quiet with an amazing view & the breakfast was fabulous too!

Everything, Terry and Jo were brilliant. Like staying with friends. Advice on what to see and do, where to eat. We really needed a relaxing break, and we got it.

Great location and views. Friendly hosts with Terry’s famous breakfast which set us up for the day. Lovely old character property which was very light and airy, perfect for a weekend stay by the sea.

Tea tray facilities could have been slightly better. Fresh milk instead of UHT and access to water to fill the kettle up without having to ask. A few biscuits would have been a lovely touch.

Beautiful views across Megavissey harbour. The hosts Terry & Jo were so friendly and accomodating. Terry's breakfast is exceptional! 10/10 english breakfast for sure. We loved our stay and would def come back again.

From this property the view is superb, as its name implies. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, the room super clean and nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast absolutely superb.

Just a note to be aware that the best parking is in the Willow car park on the way in and you should be prepared to walk up the hill to the property, with your luggage. It’s actually not far and worth it for the view. Driving up there is not advised, it’s narrow and you can’t really stop there other than the briefest drop-off.

For London tourists without a car, it's always difficult to get a true Cornwall experience. You can't imagine living outside the mainstream tourist center cities. And it's even hard as Muslims, because there are food and culture considerations. So going to the small fishing village at Mevagissay wasn't the first thing I considered. But it ended up being one of the best trips of my life. That's all thanks to Terry and Jo, and their unforgettable hospitality. I was also lucky enough to catch the Feast Week fireworks right outside of the terrace…which is a different experience entirely. Terry's small bread and breakfast offers the best view you could ask for. I can see why they named it “What a view”. You wake up literally overlooking the entire harbour and the town. It's majestic. Every morning Terry amazed us with his chef skills, cooking the best English breakfast you could ask for. All while respecting our halal requirements. Anyone visiting this small heaven in Mevagissay will leave with Terry and Jo’s heart warning hospitality. And for those without a car like us, there's also Terry's personal tour. We experienced Cornwall like it should be, from coast to coast, hours driving by the sea and stopping in iconic fishing villages. For anyone looking for the best Cornwall experience, staying at a great location, with a Hollywood view that's not gonna hurt your wallets like those 5 star hotels, there's no place like Terry and Jo's. Especially for Muslim families who really want to experience the true Cornwall but often hesitate because of the cultural barrier, Terry and Jo's will make you feel just at home in their amazing bread and breakfast. You'll leave with the fullest heart, that much I can promise.

The position gave excellent views of the harbour & town. A very nice breakfast made by Terry - an engaging & friendly host. There was a porch at the front with outdoor seating to gaze at the harbour views

It cannot be helped in St Ives, but the steep narrow road was difficult to navigate & drop off the bags. People need to consider that there is no parking, so it is necessary to park elsewhere & walk back to the B&B. Also although the room we booked had amazing views, it was quite small, so not a lot of room for bags. Our room had a great view, but this meant it came with a premium price.
