Candelabra Cottage Perched on the Wild Coast

Great location and the accommodation was spacious and easy to keep clean.

The access to the accommodation can be a bit tricky for people that walk with difficulty, e.g. with a cane.

We did not have water in the kitchenette, there weren't enough beds, as advertised. No river view as advertised. Car had to stay up on the road and it was a difficult walk down a steep, unlit driveway, through a narrow, overgrown pathway to get to the accommodation.

When the accommodation was unable to host us due to an emergency, Mokie personally made a reservation for us for alternative accommodation and was very good at communicating the situation and keeping us updated. Even while dealing with this emergency, Mokie was available to assist at any time. Exceptional hosting skills although we were unable to stay at the location.

Lovely friendly hosts, very nice views with daily visits from the monkeys. Room small and basic as expected, but has everything I needed. Very clean and well kept. Wi-fi worked really well. The bed was EXTREMELY comformable! Would definitely stay again.

Location was very peaceful and quite. The unit was spacious and comfortable for 2 people and had everything we could need. Beautiful river just in front of you and the host was a delight; very welcoming and friendly. We had a small complication with a plug but this was sorted out quickly and profesionally by the host who went out of her way to acknowledge and correct the issue which we really appreciated. All in all its the perfect little home away from home on the Wild Coast. :)

The host was very kind and helpful. The room, equipped with a small kitchen and a bathroom, was totally enough for us to stay for a couple of days. The view is nice and you can enjoy the sunset. Also the way to the beach is just about 10 minutes by foot. We enjoyed it a lot.

We really appreciated the very quiet location of this establishment. The house is on the edge of the lagoon and once on the terrace, you really feel like you're on a forest balcony. Our host was very welcoming and went out of her way to give us a freshly painted room, just in time for our arrival! Thank you again for finding us a restaurant that was still open when we arrived on a Sunday evening and for accompanying us there.

The equipment in the house (still being restored) could be improved (e.g. dishes, outside washbasin) but we are sure that this will be done quickly.
