WoodSpring Suites Huntsville - Research Park

I liked the staff. I liked the location to the jobsite, location to restaurants and stores. I liked the prices of the stay and the room was pretty clean.

I didn't like the beds, they were not very comfortable. I didn't like the non-consideration of some of the other guests. I didn't like that pet owners did not pick up their animals poop, there should be a designated area for animals.

It was clean. People above me kept me up most nights.

Nosy people. People above me kept me up most nights and their doors slam so loud when they leave out the room the janitors room must be right beside me sounded like they had a bouncy ball bouncing it off the floor till 2 AM every night.

Staff was very friendly, location was great.

I had to put shower curtain up myself and the hallway had a bunch of trash someone had swept out of their room into hallway.

Of course this property doesn’t offer breakfast- however, the location is excellent

I suppose I should first mention that I’ve had the opportunity of visiting this property in the past on numerous occasions and each visit has been met with rave reviews from me - that being said I now have a reference from which to express my current experience - this most recent visit was quite a disappointment for me - it all began with the check-in process itself - it took way too long! The front desk agent was sweet but seemed somewhat confused and distracted as there were a couple of employees near by and adding to the distraction (not cool) - upon receiving my room key and getting to my room on the 4th FL I discovered that my room key didn’t work - so I had to return to the front desk to resolve that issue - it still took a bit of time to complete (frustrating) - when I entered my room I noticed that the bathroom hadn’t been properly cleaned - the mirror had water sports all over it - the toilet seat was dirty -both top side and especially the bottom side - Literally Disgusting; the water fixtures were smeared with soapy stains - the shower and tub had not been touched - there was No shower curtain - in addition, there were no hangers in the closet area - I called down to the front office to report the issues - the male agent who answered the call was distracted when I expressed the problems - it was as if he was being pulled away from something and I didn’t have his full attention - his response was “ok hold on!!” and he hung up - I assumed that he was on his way up to my room - after about 20mins of waiting and no one showed up - I made a trip to the local Walmart to purchase some cleaning supplies (Windex; Daily Shower cleaner; and a roll of Bounty paper towels) - when I returned to the room I immediately put on some rubber gloves and began the cleanup process - also not cool!!! Needless to say this was not a good visit!! 😏

It was spacious and clean.

Had 2 fire evacuations, I didn’t get any sleep. Water pressure was poor.

Everything!
