"A wonderful, newly built property, just a short ride to historic Galle fort."

A beautifully designed property with lovely high ceilings, a peaceful garden maintained daily by an attentive gardener and a delightful pool. Full marks go to the owners, Sam and his wife, and Rasmi who brought us our breakfasts and waited on us hand and foot. The Galle Fort is about 5 minutes away by tuk tuk. (Grab the red tuk tuk that is just to the right on the main road.) If you don’t want to travel into the fort for meals there is a new small restaurant selling Sri Lankan meals less than half a kilometre down the road. Again, turn right, cross the railway tracks and it’s on your left. Good food, reasonably priced.

Excellent breakfast. Location is a short (5 minute) tuk tuk ride to the Galle fort area or a 20 minute walk. Large villa, nice pool, great breakfast. The owner was helpful organising a driver to the airport for us. The bedroom had AC, downstairs kitchen/lounge had a fan only (Galle is very hot!)
