Himmel Skardu By Luxus

I recently had the pleasure of staying, and I must say it was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish.

The facilities were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the location point was perfect for relaxation.

Great service. Tashpeen at the reception was particularly polite and helpful. Restaurant staff were exceptionall aswell. Great staff.

Excellent place for a comfortable stay. We spent a whole week and were satisfied completely. The staff is great, I got sick during the stay and they were very cooperative. Food is amazing, including the breakfast. The whole staff was very friendly and respectful, especially Shahbaz! Would definitely come back for a stay sometime in the future.

The location was breathtaking, surrounded by mountains and overlooking the Shigar river, just AMAZING! The hotel is a bit far from rest of Skardu, and it took us 1,5 hrs from airport through crowded town markets and bumpy roads, but it was all worth it when we arrived! The architecture is fantastic, simply and modern! It is clear to see that the owner had thought of everything when opening this place! All the staff was super nice!!! We checked in @ 17:00 and met a very helpful and kind receptionist, we ate late dinner and the waiters were all very service minded and met all our requirements with a big smile! Only stayed one night and did not have time to try out the pool, play area with billiards, table tennis, fuss ball etc. But it looked like something I would definitely enjoyed with kids! The place has an amazing outside area for both having food or just relax and enjoy the amazing view! The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The price is cheaper than other way worse places we stayed closer to city center! I will definitely stay here the whole stay next time I’m in Skardu, none of the other 2 places I stayed was even close to being as good!

I was there in October and I wish it was better temperature in the bathroom. There was already an electrical heater there to warm up, and it quickly turned the temp to comfortable level, but still it could be a better solution to this! Secondly, the food was not the best. For dinner we had chicken keema that had a good taste, but the naans could have been fluffier. For dessert we had almond cake and chocolate lava cake, both were okay but too sweet. Breakfast is served buffet style with lots of different alternatives, we loved the halwa poori, lassi and one of the best Pakistani omelette, but the pankaces were not so good. My personal conclusion is that they make good local and Pakistani food, but not so good continental or western.

The location is unbeatable. Really peaceful, remote, surrounded by mountains. Shigar city center is 25 minutes away. We dined at the hotel restaurant two nights and both times the food was delicious. I also appreciated their laundry service which is very convenient. The hotel also booked us a car and driver to go up to deosai national park. They make every effort to make your stay comfortable. Well worth the stay.

Lovely location and very well designed. The driver Ali was by far and away one of the best people we encountered in our stay and the general manager was incredibly helpful and very generous. The front of house team was very friendly including Iftikhar and khuram
