"Lovely property, great location. Comfortable beds. Doggie friendly."

Great quiet location. With 3 couples staying it was good to have our own bathrooms. Kitchen very spacious with plently of plates, cutlery, pots & pans etc. Beds were very comfortable & all rooms a good size. We had 2 dogs with us & it was nice for them to have their own quiet space in 'the snug'. Easy walk into Hartland village to pub, shop & cafe. Great walks around the lanes & paths.

Access & parking was a bit tricky, but once we had done it a few times it was OK.

Very spacious and well-equipped. Everything you need. Sunny enclosed garden at front of property. Good communication from owners.

Nothing to dislike, though I would have preferred an enclosed en suite - particularly toilet! - in the master bedroom.

Location. Close to Hartland and walks. Loved the lux bathroom and the little touches in the house. Having a cosy fire.

The house smelt a bit soggy so a little carpet fresh would have helped. Trying to clean up before 10am is a bit of an ask on a short stay.

"We loved Hope Cottage, it was perfect for our family Christmas break."

The large, well equipped kitchen was fabulous for cooking Christmas lunch together and the wood burning stove was cosy as the weather was quite chilly.

The window in the en-suite did not close properly and this meant the wind was really loud on a couple of nights.
