the sitting room had comfortable chairs . The log burner was easy to light and we enjoyed evenings by the fire. Warning it devours logs

supply of china, there was barely enough for four. Had to wash after dinner or there would not have been enough for next meal. Lack of glass: no tumblers provided just 6 wine and 6 long glasses. paucity of serving dishes, no whisk, no potato peeler But the worst was in getting there. No details were sent on how to get to the address. Satnvs often fail at this. A phone to host elicited a verbal itinerary including several turns pretty well impossible to remember. Another disappointment: I had asked in advance about fuel for the log burner got no reply Had to set off out again (in the dark)to corner shop to buy some after unpacking

Great location, lovely cottage with lots of space in a nice quiet area of town.

The location was fantastic and close to town

Living area could’ve used a coffee table and a floor rug just to add a little more comfort and coziness

James was very helpful with local information and the location was great - on the edge of Newcastle near the bottom of Slieve Donard (super walk - if rather steep!) but also only 10 minutes walk to the coast, shops and amenities. Lovely garden and off-street parking. I would definitely stay again.

My only suggestion is to invest in some more crockery and cutlery - as we tended to run out of things before the dishwasher was full.
