I chose the resort for convenience as it was close to the airport. It was a pleasant surprise - quiet, clean, comfortable with friendly and obliging staff.

The walk from carpark to Reception could be a challenge. Fortunately, when we arrived at 9:30pm they saw us on CCTV and came to collect us on the golf buggy.

"It's a pleasant pod"

Pleasant outlook from our pod. Very cute. Handy for Edinburgh Airport and it was by far the cheapest accommodation we found that particular night. We were taken to our pod with an offer to help with suitcases to the pod from reception which was a nice touch.

It's not a major problem to have to walk to reception then to the pod but then it was a pleasant sunny evening 10/15 minutes in rain would have been a different matter. There seems no facility to drop off you luggage. There may have been an offer to help take it back to the car when leaving but we did not take advantage of it. The panel to control the air conditioning was so well concealed, it is a black glass panel, that we did don't find it until we were leaving - slept with the door ajar,.

Loved the relaxed environment on the onsite and the choice of eateries was awesome. The chalet its self was amazing and the shuttle to Edinburgh is perfect.
